A word of caution on the resale of Sevens tickets. The HKRFU are aware that too many tickets, distributed to Clubs, end up in the hands of touts. Each ticket carries the usual caution. The Flying Kukris Committee acknowledges that some of our members either did not receive the number of tickets that they requested or circumstances have changed such that they either need more tickets or have some spare. If the HKRFU can demonstrate that FK tickets end up in the hands of touts, the Club risks losing its future allocation.

Here's the HKRFU guidance:

Clubs Can

 

i). Sell tickets to members (including social and playing members) at the face value of the ticket.

 

ii). Clubs are required to keep a detailed record of all tickets issued and will be required to provide details of ticket allocation/recipients if required by the HKRFU.

 

Clubs Cannot

 

i). Sell tickets to members (including social and playing members) above the face value of the ticket.

 

ii). Send out tickets other than directly to members.

 

iii). Sell hospitality packages (including tickets) to any individual/company/organisation, including members.

 

iv) Supply tickets to ticketing or hospitality companies.

 

We ask that you remind your members of this and that all reasonable measures are made to ensure that tickets issued to your club members in the future are not re-sold and to to remind you that the tickets issued to your club members should not be re-sold, as per the Terms & Conditions of the ticket....
