All Kukri’s members Old & New!
Welcome to the 2010-2011 Season.
What a great start to the new season, fantastic turnout & sign up at all age groups, and an especially large intake at U6 our future stars.
We also have an U18’s boy’s team who have wasted no time in showing their form – well done to all in U18’s and thanks to all involved.
The new kit looks fantastic, thank you Melissa & Andy for all the blood, sweat & tears that went into this project. Coaches are also looking very smart this season. The casuals range will be available soon, make sure you have your order handed in to Melissa.
A busy season is now well and truly under way, the first Mini’s regional festival – Tuen Mun Sharks is this weekend and at the same time the U14 & U16 boys have a Ten’s festival. The big event coming up is the Bledisloe Cup where the world’s No 1 team square off against the No 2 team, tickets are still available for this fantastic event.
I would like to thank Andrew Robertson for his service on the Girls Committee; Andrew has recently stepped down as Chair & FK representative of the Girls committee but continues his excellent work as FK Head Coach for the Girls.
Many thanks also to the many parents who have come forward and volunteered their time & services to the club as coaches & volunteers, the first few weeks is especially busy with registration and kit distribution, but a first class effort by all involved has ensured this has went ahead without a hitch.
This year on the 19th December we will have our very own FK Festival at King’s Park; we are looking for volunteers to help ensure we keep our reputation for having the best Mini’s festival in HK. Please contact Adrian Fung if you are available to help.
Elke Lee is also busy with our social calendar, keep updated on all social events planned.
Elke has also been working hard translating many of our web pages into Chinese; click on the Chinese flag top right to see the Chinese version.
